To start using the TunnelBear service, you must register for an account beforehand. TunnelBear allows you to sign up for a free account that comes with a 500MB limit, but you also have the option to get a paid subscription that can be renewed monthly (Giant) or yearly (Grizzly) for unlimited tunneling.
Naturally, when you launch the TunnelBear application, you must input your account credentials to be able to access the service. Keep in mind that the VPN service is not turned on by default: in the TunnelBear status bar menu you must select the server location and turn the appropriate nob on of off.
